I am a dedicated public health professional with over a decade of experience in designing and implementing multiple public health projects like global health security, pandemic preparedness, health system strengthening etc. My expertise lies in zoonotic disease response, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) containment, reproductive health, women cancer, immunization services, primary health care, occupational health and health program monitoring. Currently, I serve as the State Program Manager for Jhpiego in Chhattisgarh, leading multi-sectoral initiatives to enhance pandemic preparedness and zoonotic disease management. With a strong background in program leadership, stakeholder engagement, technical assistance, and capacity building, I have successfully contributed to strengthening public health systems across multiple states in India. I am passionate about integrating One Health approaches, laboratory system strengthening, and digital innovations to improve disease surveillance and outbreak response. With a track record of working with government agencies, international organizations, and development partners, I am eager to collaborate on initiatives that drive impactful, sustainable health outcomes. Overall Skills & Experience: • 13+ years of experience in public health program management, spanning global health security, pandemic preparedness, reproductive health, immunization, and women's cancer screening. • Extensive experience working across Odisha, Chhattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh, leading pandemic preparedness, emergency response, and health system strengthening initiatives. • Proven expertise in health system strengthening, stakeholder engagement, and policy implementation at the state and regional levels. • Strong background in emergency response planning, laboratory system development, and One Health strategies. • Extensive experience in capacity building, training healthcare professionals, and program monitoring & evaluation. • Led family planning programs, including the rollout of newer contraceptives such as contraceptive implants and subcutaneous progesterone. • Significant contributions to women’s cancer prevention, focusing on breast and cervical cancer screening, training healthcare providers, and ensuring compliance with screening protocols.
