About Debbeelee Mauldin

I began my law enforcement career with the Newcastle Police Department on September 10, 2007. After successfully completing training at the Oklahoma Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training Academy on February 27, 2008, I earned an Associate of Applied Science degree from Oklahoma State University and an Advanced Level Certification in Law Enforcement, reflecting my dedication to professional growth and excellence.In 2019, I graduated from the Criminal Investigators Academy, further enhancing my investigative skills. Since then, I have completed hundreds of hours of advanced training focused on sexual assault investigations, crimes against children, and homicide investigations. I am ICAC-trained and currently serve on the joint Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.Committed to continuous professional development, I attend the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation’s annual conference and the Crimes Against Children Conference each year to stay current with evolving investigative practices. My areas of specialization include sexual assault, crimes against children, and death investigations—fields requiring sensitivity, precision, and strong analytical skills.Throughout my career, I have earned three letters of commendation and one letter of appreciation. I serve as a Field Training Officer and teach annual department courses on crime scene processing, evidence collection, and handling reports involving sexual assaults, crimes against children, and child sexual abuse material (CSAM).Beyond my investigative duties, I am actively involved in the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 135, where I currently serve as President, following previous terms as Secretary and Treasurer. I am also a member of the McClain County Child Welfare Multidisciplinary Team (MOCCA) and McClain County for Change Against Child Abuse.Additionally, I authored the department’s Neighborhood Watch Program manual and coordinated the program for approximately ten years before passing leadership to another team member to continue its success.
