About Debbie Chamberlain

Debbie Chamberlain is the founder of Myndfulness Matters, an organization that focuses on empowering the community with strategies to manage stress, regulate emotions, build resilience along with fostering self-love and compassion for others. She has taught students in preschool and elementary since 2001 and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction. As a certified mindfulness, 500-hour RYS, social emotional learning, Adverse Childhood Experiences, and health and wellness instructor she brings wellness tools to communities through presentations for communities and families through mindfulness coaching, events, and support of local non-profits. She is a self-published author of My Mindfulness Matters, Busy Bee Learns to Be, Lilly the Lovable Ladybug, Gus the Grumpy Grasshopper Finds Gratitude, Nana Ant and Colby Caterpillar Creates Calm, Sammy Spider Speaks, and Mindful Mylie and shares these books with school communities. She has personally felt the drastic impact mindfulness has brought to her life, her family, and her students and their families. Learning to live life in the present moment with curiosity, showing compassion and grace to ourselves and others, and promoting kindness defines her purpose and what she hopes to share.
