She serves industry in the strategic areas of advanced manufacturing, 3D Printing, digital transformation, and automation. As President of Converge Consulting, Debbie leads strategic initiatives in advanced manufacturing and workforce development. She works side by side with top-tier clients to address complex and high-stakes challenges and turn bold ideas into reality. The launch and implementation of advanced manufacturing and Industry 4.0 programs, has resulted in major investments, expanded capabilities, and real-world impact in technology deployment, workforce readiness and regional innovation.As President of Metrix, an ASME company, she launched a revolutionary startup focused on digital events, content, and engagement. She has led major strategic initiatives in prior roles, including heading the Industry Events group at ASME, the Events and Industry Strategy group at the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME), and serving as the first Acting Director of Technology Transition at America Makes.Debbie holds a BA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA with distinction from the University’s Ross School of Business. She also serves on the Executive Committee of the National Tooling & Machining Association, the Leadership Council of the National Small Business Association, the Board of Women in Defense, Michigan Chapter and the Advisory Council for the Defense Hardtech Accelerator.Weekends find her with her family on a boat, a ski slope or rooting for her beloved Michigan Wolverines.
