I am a Technical Support Team Manager at Customer.io where I lead a team of Tier 1 Engineers. Having been with the company for over four years, I create collaborative, highly productive environments where skill-building can thrive. My career journey began with a law degree from the University of Benin, Nigeria. As someone who values continuous learning, I expanded my capabilities by teaching myself coding – an experience that steered my path toward a career in the tech sector. It was a move that has been hugely rewarding for me. Within 16 months of joining Customer.io, I was promoted to team lead – and have since built an EU/APAC team from scratch, implementing a specialization program that heightens team expertise and efficiency and contributing to numerous projects that have set our TS team up for success. Having established myself in the field, my focus is now on guiding new Technical Support Engineers (TSEs) to develop the confidence they need to fast-track their careers. Building on the experience and insight I have gained, I take great satisfaction in mentoring others towards the same success I have achieved.
