About Debbie Spence

I love working at the intersection of brands, technology, places and people, in this pure space where commerce and creativity converge. My career began in management consultancies, where I partnered with arts and media organisations like BBC, Discovery Networks Europe, National Portrait Gallery and Tate to enhance their visitor experience. Human-Centred Design before it was a thing. More recently, I've steered the ship on everything from commercial success and new business ventures to contributing to a vibrant company culture at Re (M&C Saatchi Group) and independent branding powerhouse Frost*collective. I've led dynamic teams in crafting and delivering top-tier brand strategies, identities, and experiences. A BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of York, a marketing certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and IDEO design thinking facilitator certification underpin my approach. I am all about about putting people and planet at the core of what we do, making sure decisions are based on real human needs and insights. I should never be left alone with cheese or Scotch.
