I have over 20 years’ experience as a financial planner and am passionate about assisting people in reaching their full financial potential. As the owner of a boutique practice I am able to personalise my service to ensure I meet my clients needs and they are treated as an individual with unique goals and aspirations. I have deliberately avoided positions at large financial institutions throughout my career, as I truly believe the personal touch adds real value, and I have built this ethos into the core of my practice. There are two mantra’s I repeat to my clients – Education is Power – I seek to not only assist clients in their financial journey but also help them to learn financial concepts and principles along the way. The second is Money is a Control Relationship – either you control it or it controls you. Helping people reach their full potential permeates every aspect of my life – both professionally and personally. I, along with my husband am an emergency and respite foster carer and have been involved in mentoring young girls from domestic violence backgrounds. We have also been instrumental in rescuing young girls from (or at risk of) sex trafficking in collaboration with a charity by providing training and assistance with developing business opportunities to provide an alternate source of income and valuable skills.
