Currently working as Research Scientist of Molecular Biology division at inDNA Life Sciences Pvt. Ltd, Bhubaneswar, India. inDNA Life Sciences provides histopathological, chromosomal and molecular diagnosis in the area of oncology, pediagenetics, molecular fertility and infection biology. Previously worked as Project Associate II (Sequencing) in Indian SARS-CoV-2 Genomics Consortium (INSACOG). The job was to maintain and keep records of SARS-COV-2 RNA samples from a total of nine states and to prepare next generation sequencing library from those samples for genome sequencing. Cataloging SARS-CoV-2 variants according to sequencing reports in accordance with National Center for Disease Control was the goal of my previous position. I have managed, documented sequencing results and reported twenty six thousands of SARS-COV-2 RNA samples at INSACOG. I have experience of working with infectious disease samples in BSL2 laboratory. Previous experiences include bacterial culture, protozoa culture and mammalian cell culture techniques. Experienced in next generation sequencing techniques such as Illumina sequencing by synthesis, Thermo Fisher (ion Torrent) ion semiconductor sequencing and Roche pyrosequencing. I do possess a fare share of experiences on atomic absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy.
