About Deborah Athanasopoulos

With a strong foundation in education and a passion for nurturing young minds and inspiring teachers, I am a proud McGill University alumnus and Montreal native. My teaching journey began over 10 years ago in the vibrant city of New York, where I earned a master’s degree in Elementary Education. Through my experience in various elementary grades and coaching fellow educators, I learned that effective teaching hinges on a commitment to lifelong learning and continuous improvement, always prioritizing the needs of our children. I believe that educators thrive when they receive robust support and constructive feedback from their leaders, enabling us to create impactful learning experiences. Upon returning to Montreal, I embraced my entrepreneurial spirit by co-founding LEAD Learning Club, an innovative educational initiative designed for children aged 4-12. Our programs in French, English, and Mathematics empower young learners to thrive academically while fostering a love for learning. In addition to my work with LEAD, I am a Partner and Network Consultant at ADE Preschools, a growing network of high-performing preschools in the greater Montreal area. Together, we are committed to providing exceptional early childhood education and nurturing the next generation of learners.
