National media specialist for books, magazines, the arts, health, food, sports etc. I've launched and worked on some of the biggest bestsellers in publishing history including,"What to Expect When You Are Expecting,""The Silver Palate Cookbook,""The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy,"(the entire series),"The Preppy Handbook," and others. Some of my other book projects included: the Harry Potter series (helping to launch in the US), The Babysitter Club series, Andrew Morton's books, Diana, Closely Guarded Secret," by Diana, Princess of Wales', bodyguard/protection officer, Ken Wharfe, and more. Currently, I am the media relations director for Christopher Kimball's Milk Street (and Christopher Kimball's personal publicist, too), as well as a communications manager for Mayo Clinic and the ongoing media relations consultant for the Jerome Robbins Foundation. I was the longtime (more than 20 years) publicity/media director for America's Test Kitchen (books, magazines, tv shows, radio show, website). I specialize in publicity food, health, the arts, among other things. I was the publicist for all three Paradise Lost (Bruce Sinofsky and Joe Berlinger's film) films, as well. Some of my clients have included: Andrews McMeel Publishing (more than 10 years), White Flower Farm, Bloomsbury Publishing, Hyperion, Reader's Digest, Kensington Publishing, Arcade Publishing (I worked with Paul and Linda McCartney on a cookbook), Meredith, Prevention, Natural Health magazine, Weider (several of their magazines) and many others.
