Hello! I'm Deborah Corr (she/her), and I'm passionate about the art of visual storytelling. With a strong foundation in photography and digital media, I've cultivated a diverse skill set that span across digital media production, art/design, and education. Education I hold an MFA in Photography and Related Media from SUNY New Paltz, where I graduated Summa Cum Laude and was honored with the Luigi and Anita Traverso Photography Scholarship. My journey in the arts began with a BFA in Studio Art (Photography and Drawing) and a BA in Spanish from Millikin University, where I also graduated Summa Cum Laude and was part of the prestigious James Millikin Scholar program. Professional Journey As a Digital Media Production Associate at Bernstein Associates Photography, I currently manage and fulfill client orders with a focus on photo and video editing, and document management. My commitment to visual storytelling extends to my role as an Instructor of Record at the College of Westchester, where I teach the value of storytelling through various digital media concepts, including photography, storyboards, and comics. In the past, I've contributed to the art community as a Gallery Assistant and Web Manager at Beekman Arts Club, aiding in gallery exhibitions, online curation, and website development. Additionally, I've served as a Server and Social Media Content Creator at Krishna Kitchen, honing my skills in customer service and digital marketing. Creative Skills I'm proficient in a wide range of creative tools, including Adobe programs such as Photoshop, Premier Pro, Lightroom, and InDesign. I excel in project management, file organization, website and social media management, e-commerce, and data entry. My passion for photography extends beyond digital to encompass film photography in various formats, and I'm well-versed in videography, photo, and video editing, as well as studio lighting techniques. Language Skills With intermediate proficiency in Spanish, I'm able to connect with a broader audience and explore creative avenues in both English and Spanish-speaking communities.
