Deborah Elizabeth Johnson is a seasoned attorney from the Dallas area. She began her legal career in federal service at the Small Business Administration, but now practices law from the Law Office of Deborah E. Johnson, Esq. Mrs. Johnson's practice includes a focus on music and entertainment law issues, sports law, transactional law, contract review and negotiation, artist representation, and small business formation. Mrs. Johnson attended Texas Tech University, majoring in dance and psychology. Mrs. Johnson forewent her Bachelor in Dance & Performing Arts, for a degree in Psychology with the hopes of attending law school. Completely inspired by attorneys in her path, she achieved that dream in 2005 when she graduated from Texas A&M School of Law. She is licensed to practice law in the State of Texas, as well as the United States Supreme Court. She is currently pursuing licensing in other states besides Texas. Mrs. Johnson’s experience includes entertainment law, sports law, intellectual property, business formation, commercial litigation, construction law, compliance specialist, real estate contract & negotiations, contract law, as well as Attorney Ad Litem for children removed from their home by Child Protective Services. Mrs. Johnson additionally serves as In-House Counsel for Nechemya Construction Solutions, LLC. In 2016, she was hired by a local Community College adding the title of Professor to her repertoire. Mrs. Johnson is a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother and attends Gateway Church. Mrs. Johnson currently represents social media influencers, vocal artists and songwriters, musicians, producers, actors/actresses, models, reality TV personalities, book authors, professional athletes, and others in the entertainment and sports industry who are at varied levels in their careers.
