About Deborah Ewald

A nursing professional with innovative management skills and aptitude who believes that management sets the tone for the office. As a strong strategic thinker I was able to affect change which transformed a department with an eight year history of problems and financial loss to gain. Through my experiences and skills gained in Human Resources, and my roles as an Office Administrator in the non-profit sector, I bring the ability to build a business and manage employees. These were instrumental skills that enabled me to revitalize a volunteer program for a conservancy group. The Western Pennsylvania Conservancy Group had over volunteers organizational-wide when I finished the revamping of the program. In nursing, self-development is a never-ending process, which I embraced. The experience gained as a Neurosurgical Nurse became the foundation of an expansive nursing knowledge base. My tenure in teaching was enhanced by my nursing experience as well as my wide-based background in business. While Director of Education I affected changes in the school's curricula and practices that not only improved outcomes, but also, the student's ability to be successful in the workplace.
