About Deborah House

An experienced adaptable Analytical Chemist, project and people manager with over thirty years of experience within the scientific industry. I have worked in target driven environments, successfully developed efficiencies through process change and developed customer relations. KEY ACHIEVEMENTS Whilst managing teams I have identified key talent to work with me to achieve common goals. Recruited, managed, coached and mentored staff in small and large teams, ensured that staff were appropriately trained and cross-trained by assessing fit for purpose training and development in order to improve efficiency. I have took the lead in reviewing, developing and maintaining quality which has resulted in successful internal and external audits, maintaining UKAS accreditation. Project management ensuring delivery to quality, time and budget. Trained as an auditor to carry out internal audits to ISO 17025. Constantly monitored KPI's and by prioritising and scheduling work for a large team, I was able to revitalise the team and put it back on track and consequently exceeded the customer targets of 95 % of results being reported on time by actually delivering over 98% month on month. Successfully built up a new business within a small scientific company.
