I am a scholar-practitioner passionately exploring the dynamics of organizational systems and their impact on change. I hold a PhD in Organizational Development and Change at Fielding Graduate University, my research focuses on the intersection of organizational design, human-centered design, and needfinding through a systems lens. My dissertation delves into the factors shaping needfinding within complex systems, providing insights for successful person-centered planning outcomes. Professionally, I serve as a Regional Manager for the University of Illinois Chicago’s Division of Specialized Care for Children (DSCC). In this role, I lead a regional care coordination team for the Medically Fragile Technology Dependent (MFTD) Medicaid Waiver Program, ensuring children and youth with special healthcare needs receive comprehensive support. My work includes managing care coordination, guiding my team through change initiatives, and implementing quality improvement projects tailored to regional and organizational needs. My academic background complements my professional journey. I hold an M.A. in Organizational Development and Change from Fielding Graduate University, with a concentration in Media, Technology, and Innovation focusing on creativity and human-centered design. Additionally, I earned a B.A. in Organizational Development and Leadership from DePaul University, specializing in organizational development and emotional intelligence in the workplace. With over two decades of leadership experience across case management, education, and operations management, I have honed expertise in project management, process development, quality improvement, and strategic planning. My strengths lie in building collaborative teams, facilitating meaningful change, and fostering person-centered practices to enhance organizational systems. I am driven by curiosity and a commitment to creating impactful, sustainable solutions that empower individuals and organizations to thrive.
