About Deborah Levy

My expertise lie in the field of online education: • Instructional design • Writing • Curriculum development I have an MBA (cum laude) and an honour's degree in Applied Psychology (cum laude). I’ve been self-employed since 2010 in the field of online and face-to-face education. I’ve been very fortunate to contract for many years with Wisewire Education: A leading U.S. EdTech company. In this time, I have worked with a number of notable clients as well as with teams of highly skilled cross-functional experts. The other main client I’ve contracted with over the years is LearningMate, which has teams based in the US and India. Between WiseWire and LearningMate, I’ve developed products for Pearson International, Barnes and Noble Education, Wiley, the University of Phoenix, North Central University, the American Military University, Texas University, Cisco, and the American Public University System, to name just a few. My years of working remotely with teams across the globe on a wide range of projects prove that I am a cooperative, reliable, independent, and self-motivated team player. I value feedback as I strive for excellence and continual growth. I possess in-depth skills in reviewing, designing, and developing curricula, courses, and lessons. I have substantial experience with a wide range of subjects, audiences, and clients. I am proficient in writing, research, blueprinting, storyboarding, creating interactives, animations, video scripts, and assessment, gamification, and using authoring tools such as Story Line and Evolve. This reflects my resourcefulness, versatility, creativity, and understanding of pedagogy and the online learning process. I have an ability to integrate large amounts of complex material into useful products. My experience also includes extensive involvement in student leadership coaching and student success coaching.
