I work with Private Equity Houses, Hedge Funds and large private companies to design management incentive plans suitable to the profile of these industries for executives in the UK and globally. Recent projects include- design and implementation of equity based long term incentive plans for private companies and private equity backed portfolio companies- transaction support in relation to due diligence for private equity and corporate buyers- advice in relation to portfolio company management teams and private equity fund executive taxation in respect of re-financings and disposals of portfolio companies- design and implementation of deferral arrangements for employees and LLP members, using trusts and other mechanisms- employment and personal tax advice in relation to incentives for hedge fund and private equity executives. I co-ordinate multi-disciplinary teams to deliver projects, and have strong links both across tax disciplines and across the Deloitte global network.
