A clinician informed research program has been developed and implemented at the UFHealth Florida Recovery Center in Gainesville, Florida. Nationally, this program is like no other. Well-known barriers to data collection in the clinical setting have been overcome, and our unique position as an Academic Health Center Addictions Treatment Program allows for involvement of student research assistants, which has made this all possible. With this data we conduct longitudinal studies to investigate patient outcomes for the addictions treatment program.
