About Deborah Pool

While working in the medical industry, I learned how important customer service and education was. I love learning, I will enjoy a position which continues to allow me to grow in understanding and keep at the top of my field. I was active on the Lone Star College Certificate Board to help the local educational establishment to keep our industry needs better met and protect the level of professionalism required to run a medical office proficiently from 2008- 2013. This not only protected my profession but allowed the community I was a part of improve itself. I resigned from the board when I moved from the area in 2013 or I would have enjoyed continued service to my community. Beginning 2015 I spent five years in the Denver area medical field where I joined the CVS Coram Team and transferred back to the Houston area in 2019. I now have been with CVS Coram for six years. My job is being eliminated so I am looking for a new team. I am very organized and determined to be among the top on any team I join. In my current position of Centralized Medical Records (CEMR) for CVS Coram Health Care, I have a personal excellence best of 0.533 in errors and a production rate of 16.17 docs per hour worked. If I were staying with my current position, I would want to reduce my errors even more. My production is among the top among my coworkers. I feel that my input and solutions has been beneficial and helped my team to be the excel in Coram. I am saddened that our team is being downsized as I would have enjoyed growing and expanding my talents here more. I give from my heart 100 percent plus, to every team and have high work standards. I am a team player and have encouraged team members when they were overwhelmed by the sheer volume of work or the targeted requirements seemed out of reach. I try to leave conversations on a positive note even when we have been faced with this downsizing. As I move forward, I am diligently looking for a medical field opportunity to stretch my abilities and learn more about this vast industry. I use knowledge I have gained from each of my previous positions to make my team among the best. I would really like to get back into the billing side of the industry or in another records position. I wish all the best to my CVS Coram team members and thank them and our management team for the opportunity I have had to work, learn and grow with them.
