Professionally trained in medical case management with experience ensuring high standards of culturally competent care for a wide variety of clients with diverse needs. Presently, completing a master’s degree in social work. Currently, looking to transition to a position where I can combine my nursing skills with social work. In pursuit to begin my career as a social worker as part of a dynamic team player with a problem-solving ability to start a career as a social worker with a focus on family advocacy, providing therapeutic treatment to victims, and developing intervention and treatment plans. Additionally, seeking to apply skills gained through completion of a master’s degree in social work, engaging in a patient-centered approach when evaluating the needs of victims, providing support, implementing crisis intervention strategies, and utilizing knowledge of the health care system to develop community initiatives that support/ improve the life of victims of domestic violence.
