I am the founder of Empowered Teens and Parents, and a dedicated retreat facilitator and mentor specializing in teen-parent relationships. With over 30 years of experience in self-development, Debra brings deep insight and compassion to her work, helping families heal, reconnect, and thrive. As a mother of two daughters, Debra understands firsthand the emotional complexity of parenting teens. Her own journey inspired her to write What If Your Teen Isn’t the Problem? A Guide to Conscious Parenting—a powerful resource to help parents manage their triggers, communicate more consciously, and build stronger, healthier relationships with their teens. Debra is also the award-winning author of My Feet Aren’t Ugly: A Girl’s Guide to Loving Herself from the Inside Out, a trusted guide for adolescent girls navigating self-esteem and identity. Debra also founded Sedona Soul Retrieval, where she facilitates Adult Mother Daughter, Couples, and Pre-Marital Retreats and Mentoring, guiding adults into a more conscious way of communicating and being in a place of love with each other. Through her one-on-one Mother-Daughter and Family Retreats in Sedona, Arizona, Debra continues to support parents and teens in breaking through disconnection and cultivating deeper bonds.
