About Debra Dannog

I have 23 years of experience as a nurse. My expertise is in medical oncology and hematology. I have worked in the chemotherapy infusion suite and as a primary oncology nurse for 20 years. I have also worked as a team leader overseeing mainly the chemotherapy infusion suite and Hematology/Oncology department for 2 years while working Hawaii. During my position as a team leader, I was involved with the company’s major changes such as the merger, budgets, and going live with electronic medical records (EMR). I worked closely with IT techs to develop charting/flowsheets for EMR software. I obtained my chemotherapy/biotherapy card in I obtained my OCN certification November 03, 2003. I was the most experienced nurse in oncology and hematology at Nevada Cancer Institute; therefore, I was the resource for the infusion room nurses and rotating nursing Interns. I have experience in computer systems, data base, evidence-based tools, electronic medical records, PowerPoint, and Excel. On January 2012, I relocated to California and currently work as a Clinical Nurse at Cedars-Sinai Samuel Oschin Comprehensive Cancer Center taking on many leadership roles and actively volunteering with American Society Relay for Life and Susan G. Komen race for the cure. On April 16, 2015, I received my Masters-in-Nursing and Leadership Management. My qualities are dedication, loyalty, integrity, compassion, respect, hardworking, productivity, efficiency, and a quick learner.
