About Debra Lage

Over the 20 plus years in my career I have learned that what I love best is building and maintaining relationships with clients, colleagues and everyone I meet along my journey. To be part of something that matters; whether it is building a solution together, creating a strategic roadmap, or opening up opportunities that make a difference in business and philanthropy. At Mercer, my role is a relationship manager and with that comes the important responsibility to ensure our clients feel valued, heard and taken care of. I collaborate with all our experts under the Marsh McLennan umbrella to deliver tailored strategies and innovative solutions that address the health and well-being of our clients, their business and their employees. I take pride in being part of a non-profit board, Children’s Harbor. A role that has allowed me to make a difference in the community, to the children we serve by providing them a safer and brighter tomorrow. It provides me a sense of fulfillment to know that at Children’s Harbor, we keep kids safe, we help families heal, we do everything that we can to shine light back into the lives of children who have been impacted by the trauma of child abuse. I also sit on the Board for WEL Florida (Women Executive Leadership) and Co-chair the Programs and Education committee. WEL Florida provides an empowering and friendly network of collaborative women executives committed to supporting and filling well-earned positions of power in the C-Suite and on Boards for themselves and their peers—by advocating, educating and connecting accomplished women leaders—today and in the future. In my free time, I take pride in watching my son go through his journey of growing up. I love to travel, to stay active and healthy through morning workouts and to spend a few moments a day to write my daily deb dose inspirational thoughts. My wind down every second I get is my time with my golden retriever, Charlie. He is my calm in every storm I travel through.
