About Debra Schwartz

As CEO and founder of Reasonics, I see the same fundamental challenge across industries: expert knowledge lives in people's heads instead of being built into systems that help entire organizations perform consistently. I witnessed how the best professionals in real estate single-handedly managed regulatory requirements, multiple stakeholder communications, and time-sensitive deadlines - but that expertise wasn't transferable or scalable. Corporate environments face identical challenges: employees rely on sticky notes and undocumented know-how because systematizing expertise takes time no one has. Unlike typical workflow software that requires IT teams to pre-program business practices, our platform already understands these practices through AI training and ontologies. More importantly, it adapts when situations change - because real-world operations demand flexibility, not rigid predetermined workflows. This challenge extends across regulated industries where precision and compliance are critical. Healthcare, defense, financial services, and government organizations already use ontologies but struggle to operationalize them into working software systems. We're building technology that bridges this gap, turning ontological knowledge into software that scales expertise while maintaining real-world adaptability.
