Previous role: June 2021 – May 2025 Operations Manager, Greyfriars Church, Reading • Head of operations for a very large church (900 attendees across two sites) & part of the church leadership team. • Oversaw and delivered a large £7-million building redevelopment project through to completion, including building of a new Atrium bookshop and coffeeshop, offices and a large, two-storey church centre. • Managed office move into the new space and created new procedures for staff, members and visitors. • Managed a busy site consisting of two church sites, a large centre, a busy bookshop and coffeeshop in central Reading. • Line Management of operations team of 5 employees plus dozens of volunteers. • Developed and managed all online communication incl. weekly email to large audience & editorial process of One Family Magazine. • Managed multiple contracts across two sites for IT, facilities, security, insurance, cleaning. • Supported Vicar with all of HR function, updating governance and HR processes, including the creation of a new employee handbook. • Worked with fellow ministry heads to streamline and improve processes to support the mission and vision of Greyfriars. • Managed all residential properties & their tenancies. • Oversaw and completed transition to cloud-based IT platform (SharePoint).
