Extensive experience as a scientist and research operations manager within academic sector and the NHS. Service Delivery Manager for the South East Genomic Hub Laboratory, based at the Viapath Genetics Laboratory at Guys and St Thomas NHS FT. Previously, I worked as Programme Manager (Technical programme) at the West Midlands Regional Genetics Laboratory (WMRGL) at The Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospital, I am responsible for the overall operational management of the technical workflows, resourcing, solution development, service implementation, improvement and leadership to ensure successful delivery and execution of genetics diagnostics services. In addition to routine laboratory operations, programme management and support functions, I am significantly invested in process improvement, training and developing front-line managers, staff engagement and mentoring.
