About Decklan Barnabas

My name is Decklan Barnabas, I’m from Lincolnwood, Illinois. Currently, I’m a rising senior at Indiana University studying Marketing and Digital/Social Media Business Applications. At IU, I’m a part of the Marketing committee in the IU Dance Marathon organization and was elected chair of Event Documentation for the Spring and Fall 2024 semesters. I joined this organization to build upon my skills in content creation, brand management and event marketing. Additionally, I served as the 2023-2024 apparel coordinator for the IU Wakeboard and Waterski club. This position allowed me to grow my experience in graphic design and brand management; it gave me a good perspective to analyze a sample group of consumers to determine how different products would align with the organization's brand perception to generate the best results and feedback. As a professional, I pride myself on my willingness to go above and beyond for clients and colleagues, and my communication and diligence allow me to effectively manage work-related tasks and maintain strong relationships. I am always looking to listen and learn from my colleagues, I believe that open communication is key to success in any endeavor. I'm dedicated to staying organized to ensure that projects can be completed efficiently and effectively. My willingness to take on new challenges, coupled with my strong communication and organizational skills, will make me a valuable asset to any team.
