Art & Design Teacher * Enthusiastic and charismatic Art teacher with nearly two decades of teaching experience, always seeking to get the best from each student. Has extensive knowledge of the subject and continues to improve everyday. Excellent communicator with positive classroom management skills and proven track record at 2nd level.* Visual artist * I am a visual artist working in a wide range of mediums, from oil paint to mixed media and print. I have exhibited in extensively in Belgium and Ireland and my work is part of both public and private collections. I have received awards by Create Louth, Drogheda Borough Council and the Arts Council of Ireland in recent years.* Curator * Together with Els Borghart, we work as an independent artistic and curatorial duo since 2009 in a local, national and international context. We initiate, develop and collaborate on contemporary projects, either independently or in association with other creatives. Our starting point is always to advocate visual arts we believe to be critically relevant to our times, while looking at each project from both a curatorial and an artist point of view.* Set designer * Together with Els Borghart, we develop and design artwork and visual concepts for theatre and performance productions. We also develop art commissions for festivals, companies and individuals. Whether you want a mural made, a mosaic from recycled materials or an oil painting, we will approach each project with our own personal vision and touch.* Workshops * I run workshops in schools, in art centres and galleries, but also in corporate environments. My premise is always to explore the hidden creativity present in all of us. No hiding, I am convinced there is an artist present in all of us.
