Background

About Dede Kartika

I began my career as a lifestyle journalist, where I learned how to listen, observe, and craft stories that resonate. Since 2017, I’ve been working as a communications consultant, supporting organizations in shaping narratives, strengthening reputation, and managing high-stakes communications across various industries. I’ve worked on advocacy initiatives in highly regulated sectors—conducting stakeholder mapping, gathering insights directly from experts, and translating complex issues into clear, relatable narratives for the public. I’ve also been involved in multiple crisis and reputation management projects, helping brands navigate public scrutiny, rebuild trust, and communicate responsibly with media, communities, and key stakeholders. Whether it’s narrative development, issues management, or long-term communications strategy, I enjoy helping brands communicate with clarity, empathy, and impact. Core competencies: Strategic Communications, Media Strategy, Corporate Communications, Crisis Communications, Reputation Management, Issue Management, Advocacy Communications, Stakeholder Engagement, Narrative Development, Messaging Frameworks, Content Strategy, Editorial Strategy, Brand Storytelling, and Integrated Communications Planning.
