Dede Schmallen has a unique depth of experience in Human Resources, Talent Management and Organization Development. She has an established record of being a leader and visionary in all aspects of HR and OD for leaders and executives. Dede is described as a trusted advisor, strong facilitator and a compelling educator. As an educator, she has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in HR, OD and Leadership. Dede has held HR and OD leadership and executive positions with healthcare companies in the Phoenix metro area including: HonorHealth, John C. Lincoln and Samaritan Health System (now Banner). Her leadership in HR was instrumental in the merger of John C. Lincoln with Scottsdale Healthcare. Dede is a strong HR Generalist and progressive leader with expanded depth and breadth of accountability achieved through numerous key internal promotions. Dede is described as an established business partner who can engage leaders in collaborating with HR. She has successfully developed and executed leadership and workforce development initiatives. Dede has experience in assessment and intervention along with developing high-potential and succession management programs. She also has a depth of experience in linking organizational strategy and outcomes to the line-of-sight of employees through the use of LEAN principles and management systems. Dede received her BA in Healthcare Administration and MA in Human Resources from Ottawa University-Phoenix. She also received the designation of Fellow from The Advisory Board Company in Washington, D.C.
