About Dee Fontana

I am an experienced nurse leader with a successful career in health care administration. As a recent graduate of the Jones School of Law at Faulkner University in Montgomery Alabama, I am in pursuit of the next challenge in my career in the area of healthcare law, risk management/compliance or as a senior executive with a large healthcare organization. My clinical expertise is in cardiology, critical care and emergency medicine and most recently, my focus has been hospital operations, throughput, risk management and fiscal operations. I've had the opportunity to work at a wide variety of organizations, ranging from small community hospitals to large academic medical centers. I am a catalyst for change, develop strong relationships across disciplines and I can engage even the most challenging, multidisciplinary teams. My varied experience has provided me with a unique skill set focusing on hospital operations, regulatory requirements, risk management, staff engagement and patient satisfaction. At this point in my career, I am looking for a challenging position where I can lead a team of healthcare professionals to create a culture where patients come first, employees love to come to work and where I can make a difference every day.
