About Dee Hale

I've spent the past 32 years of my career directly involved with the administration of commissioned music for major and independent film & television production studios, as well as the original created content for many major broadcasters throughout the world. It's been a lifelong journey to represent the scores of so many big and small screen composers, without whom film and series viewers would feel no emotions. I'm honored to have met so many, to be able to protect the composers and publishers income with proper administration/registration with the collection societies throughout the world. Over the past 10 years, the audio visual business has evolved from linear to digital broadcast at a very fast pace. I work with several international A/V committees/task forces to develop better ways of harmonizing, identifying and collecting performance royalties from all performance societies, and to find digital solutions for moving the required documentation from the rights owners to the collection societies.
