Hi, I’m Dee Jay, a Tourism graduate currently working in the HR industry. I’m a Talent Acquisition - Onboarding specialist with nearly 3 years of experience. I previously worked as a customer service agent in the airline industry, but the pandemic changed that. Afterward, I worked as a sales representative in a BPO Telco company, where upselling was part of the job. Switching careers from the airline industry to sales, and now to onboarding, has been a big adjustment for me. However, my eagerness to learn and my experience in customer service and corporate roles helped me hone various administrative skills, such as providing customer support, managing emails and meetings, auditing requirements, and onboarding employees. Now, I’m very grateful that I can work remotely and spend more time with my family. Overall, transitioning to a Talent Acquisition - Onboarding role has been a rewarding career move for me, and I’m thankful to have found a job that allows me to work on my own terms while continuing to grow both professionally and personally.
