About Dee Laffan

Food is my passion and my business. I'm so fortunate that I get to work in an industry and community that I love. Creating content about Irish food and drink gives me such a buzz whether writing for print media, editing Scoop magazine or creating social media. My background and BA Degree are in journalism and I am a writer at heart, however, over the years I have upskilled and pivoted to become an expert in many areas of media including writing for online digital publications, copywriting for clients, social media creation and management, contributing to radio and television programmes, presenting podcasts and hosting events, whether private events or on stage at a festival, and consulting with clients on projects and content. All of these combined are what form my business. Working with companies on projects, from ideation to completion, or consulting and managing their online needs is so rewarding. But equally, I still love researching and writing articles for publications. The variety of work is exhilarating and keeps me challenged and informed.
