Adaptable UX Designer leveraging a background in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) to create user-centered, research-backed, and accessible digital experiences. 4 years of experience, including 1 year in a leadership role, working with clients in the public sector, healthcare, retail, financial services, AI, and sustainability. What I bring to the table- Led a cross-functional team in an end-to-end design and research initiative to reduce reliance on contact tracing field work, secured buy-in from clients through high-fidelity prototypes on genAI opportunities, and created accessibility how-to documents for development and design teams at Accenture- Collaborated closely with a team of designers, developers, and senior leadership at Zerigo Health to successfully develop an accessible patient-facing app for iOS and Android, aligning with rigorous business and medical requirements- Drove early-stage visual and information hierarchies while mentoring junior designers on a small design team; built a responsive design system from the ground up for a start-up as a freelance product designer. I love diving into the weeds to uncover user requirements, analyze data, streamline information architecture, and meticulously iterate prototypes in Figma. As a Disabled designer, I am eager to ideate products for diverse people, ensuring accessibility is at the forefront of everyone’s minds. In my free time, you will probably find me scribbling down inventions on little scraps of paper, trapping unsuspecting strangers into never-ending conversations on usability, or bopping around San Francisco with my little dog Lou snapping film photos of candid moments.
