I have enjoyed 30 years in the transportation industry. Van, flatbed and now intermodal freight. H&M International & Marine Transport have given me the opportunity to work and gain knowledgeable information working with containers out of the ports of Virginia. I began my career in transportation as a driver in the Los Angeles California area before working my way into the office and working all positions in those offices, I at one time drove a forklift in a warehouse loading and unloading trucks, before I began in the office. Customer service manager, dispatcher, driver payroll and accounts payable & receivables. Inside sales, data entry, rate quotes, billing, and eventually the terminal manager position. I have filled every possible position in the transportation industry including Terminal Manager with Crown Transport Inc. a sister company of USX Express based out of the Los Angeles area. I have 10 years experience with Crown Transport Inc. I only departed Crown Transport when I found that they were turning the company over to another transportation carrier. Our competitor at the time. I really enjoy working in the transportation industry. I enjoy the satisfaction of getting the job done. Making sure our customers are very satisfied with our "on time"​ deliveries & providing the best customer service that I can, to insure that they will remember me & always come back to us. I strive to meet our drivers needs to insure that they are meeting their financial needs, & that they enjoy working side by side with me to meet not only theirs but the customers needs also. I believe being a driver has given me an edge to understand their side and what they go through on a daily basis and what they need to make their lives and job easier. Working in dispatch and customer service allows me to do both. Give me a task and I'll joyfully complete it, that gives me the satisfaction of a job well done.
