About Deedee Brinkman

I am a Native Memphian, but my family has found our happy place living in North Mississippi. I am super talented at singing the wrong lyrics to songs in the car- just ask my family! I enjoy watching sunrises and sunsets from the beach, laughing by the campfire with family and friends, and watching anything British that resembles “The Crown” or “Downton Abbey”. I also love to travel as much as life allows. Some of my favorite memories include traveling to Kenya to visit our Compassion sponsor child, a mission trip to Honduras, and a study tour of the Holy Land. I currently work as a Church Administrator (aka Office Manager) and I absolutely love my job and co-workers! My job includes payroll, benefits, payables, financial planning, accounting, and everything else that needs tending to administratively. I am a planner by nature and enjoy tying up loose ends to make sure all details are covered. I am responsible and dependable. I can always be counted on to get the job done! Although I love a detailed plan, I can also “roll with the punches” when things need to be flexible. My favorite part of the work I do is having the freedom to see needs and meet them. Whether it means bringing a meal to someone who is sick, visiting someone in the hospital, or decorating a room for an event- I love it all! I am an empathetic person and it brings me great joy to serve others. The most influential people in my life have taught me to be humble, kind, and love my neighbors. I believe these three things can change the world one person at a time. It starts with me.
