About Deekshitha Reddy

As a Data Engineer at Verizon, I have over years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and machine learning models for various online marketing and lead generation projects. My mission is to apply machine learning and cloud technologies to solve complex business problems and deliver value to customers. I have a strong technical background in Hadoop frameworks, cloud platforms, NoSQL databases, and functional programming. I use BigQuery, Cloud Dataflow, Cloud Dataproc, and Cloud Composer to architect data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and I also have experience with Azure and AWS. I use Scala, Python, SQL, and other languages to develop data processing, ETL/ELT, and RESTful API applications. I implement real-time stream processing pipelines, data retrieval, transformation, and analysis within cloud environments. I manage MongoDB and other NoSQL databases, and I use Google Cloud Pub/Sub for event-driven architectures. I collaborate with diverse and talented teams to leverage the power and flexibility of cloud computing and machine learning. Previously, I was a Senior Data Engineer at Johnson & Johnson, where I contributed to the development and deployment of data solutions for the healthcare and pharmaceutical domains. I am always eager to learn new tools and techniques, and I enjoy working on challenging and impactful projects.
