About Deep Parikh

As a material planner / inventory controller at Ursa Manufacturing, I apply my skills and knowledge in project management, supply chain management, and mechanical engineering to ensure the optimal flow of materials and inventory for the production process. I have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Gujarat Technological University, and two postgraduate degrees in logistics, materials, and supply chain management from Rutgers University, and foundation of project management from the University of Toronto. I am also eligible for the P.M.P. certification. I have over three years of experience in leading and supervising teams, managing projects, and creating and maintaining positive customer relationships. In my previous roles, I have successfully implemented a new system for the maintenance team, improved the KPI and SWOT analysis of the project, and reduced waste by using lean manufacturing and six sigma. I am proficient in using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, MasterCam, ERP software, and various measurement tools, as well as MS Office for effective documentation management. I am passionate about solving problems, delivering quality results, and continuous improvement.
