About Deep Vaghela

First and foremost, I love puzzles. As a first generation Indian American kid growing up in suburban Dallas, you could always find a Rubik's cube or Sudoku around. My fascination with puzzles ignited my quest to meaningfully explore new dimensions by majoring in Aerospace Engineering at UT-Austin. Since then, I've pursued novel problems and innovative solutions, which previously led me from being a Systems Engineer at Raytheon, to an Operations Consultant at Deloitte, to a Program Manager at Meta (Facebook). Through my personal + professional adventures, I've become known as the glue guy - a leader who can quickly build impactful cross-functional relationships and connect strategy in the clouds to actions on the ground to make 1+1=3. Throughout my career, I have often been tasked with defining complex problems and I've had the privilege of working with bright team members to build amazing products in line with organizational goals. In parallel, I pursued a part-time MBA at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management to grow my business acumen, where I developed a bias for action and a philosophy of servant leadership, which will help me realize my ambition of building and influencing future tech.​ Each of these steps led me to my current role as a Product Manager on the Enterprise Customer Behavior team at Capital One, where I am fortunate to be able to build elegant solutions alongside bright, talented leaders. Outside of work, you can find me exploring local restaurants, live music venues, and stand-up shows if I'm not backpacking through far-off destinations.
