About Deepa Shahi

Currently working as a Clinical Research Associate (Centralized Monitor) at Cliantha Research Limited. Before that, I had worked as Clinical Reserch Coordinator & QC Monitor in Site Management Unit at JSS Medical Research on a BA/BE Study & Post Marketing Observational Surveillance Study with a demonstrated history of working in industry and research institute. Clinical Research professional with a Master of Science - M.Sc. focused in Microbiology from Nirma University Of Science And Technology. During my exposure at Indian Council of Agricultural Research, DMAPR, I was working on a project entitled "Unraveling the Biosynthetic Pathway of Active Ingredient in Diabetes Curing Tropical Medicinal Herb Madhunashini (Gymnemasylvestre)". During my Industrial exposure, my key responsibilities were: • Sampling of Water and Routine microbiological analysis of water (Purified/ Potable/ WFI Water) and Swab samples • Pathogenic testing of water, raw materials & finished products as per USP • Environmental monitoring of aseptic processing area, Sampling booth and micro area • Performing Instrument calibration in QC Microbiology lab. and Operating various microbiological instruments like pH meter, conductivity meter, micropipette, LAF and Cytotoxic cabinet • Perform day to day operations of the microbiology section ensuring lab safety, quality and efficiency • Micro related documentation work following the GDP, GMP and ISO standard • Procurement, preservation and maintenance of standard microbial cultures
