I am so happy you have dropped by my profile, I would love to take a minute to let you know who I am! My name is Deepa and I love being outdoors going for hikes with my family and dog. I regularly volunteer and participate in programs like the One Million Trees and assist with collection of food items for the Mississauga Food Bank. Growing up, I loved to do role plays, participated in cooking shows, and gave speeches to a large audiences. This is what describes who I am… I am best known for my communication skills, being empathic and staying attuned to the feelings and emotions of those around me. Throughout my life I have developed and still learning that effective communication and empathy are the core of any successful business, leader and both professional and personal relationships. The greatest compliment that I received in my previous work was my ability to connect easily with anyone, develop a rapport, pick up emotional cues from their body language, tone of voice and understand different situations. My capability to use these skills contributed immensely when working in my previous roles as a student advisor, admission officer and academic coordinator. I also have a comprehensive skill set when using technology and confident with using Microsoft Word and Excel, can input data into Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and understand how to use Point of Sale (POS) databases. I am obsessed with staying organized and love to support everyone to make enjoy making everyone’s life easier. Look forward to hearing from you!
