Fuelled by a deep idiosyncratic inclination towards innovative styling, I started my journey as a designer back in 1985, as the foundation for byDCLA – a boutique dedicated to men’s suits and accessories, based in Los Angeles, CA. To accumulate the acumen that would lead to the inception of the company, I traveled far and wide searching the archives of cloth weavers, suit makers and shirt makers, to discover the best, covering Milan. Como, Biella, Houston, Philadelphia, New York, Hong Kong, Beijing, Hangzhou and Shanghai, over a span of an amazing year and a half. More than 20 years in the styling industry has helped me to perfect byDCLA’s production capabilities, and a testament of that is every product that carries the name. Over the years, the company has established itself as reputable designer brand known to produce high-quality made-to-measure suits, shirts, sports coats, slacks and accessories. Carved out of fine fabric procured from premium cloth manufacturing companies in the world, such as Loro Piana, Ermenegildo Zegna, Dormeuil, Vitale Barberis Canonico, Charles Clayton and Holland & Sherry – the purveyors of finest clothes in the world.
