About Deepak Dhillon

With 4 years of total experience and 2 years of Post-PhD experience; I am a Senior Manager at Kotak Securities where I develop Gen AI solutions to various problems faced by different teams; draw insights from data to inform business decision-making. Before this, I worked as a data scientist at NDS InfoServ, where I developed the cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence system that analyzes a document and draws/infers insights automatically from it. I develop systems leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Generative AI, Fine Tuning, Python, PyTorch, Huggingface, Spacy, SQL, and AWS. Previously, after B.Tech, I have also worked as a Software Analyst at Newgen Software Technologies for 1 year and 3 months, where I worked on their BPM, ECM, DMS products using Java, Java Server Faces, JavaScript, etc. I have a Ph.D. in Image Processing from IIT Jodhpur with a grade 9/10, where I conducted research on Enhanced Edge Processing, developing novel techniques to process edges (object boundaries) in images. I have published multiple papers in prestigious journals and conferences; and was awarded by Signal Processing Society. I am passionate about solving real-world problems and create value for businesses and society.
