Started as a dealer with a Delhi based brokerage firm and moved in their research department after 8 months of work. Moved to B&K securities as a research associate to independently cover the mid-cap infra companies and cleared two levels of CFA examination. Moved to Analec Infotech after the closure of B&K's Delhi office. Covered the Asia-pac telecom sector independently in Analec. Presently working at Avvanti Advisors as a Senior Research Analyst and co-fund manager. Investment Philosophy Create a concentrated portfolio of non-commoditised, niche companies with special focus on management quality. Proper evaluation of the downside risk before making investments. Exiting only when there is a better opportunity or when the story has been concluded or when the initial analysis gets into question due to unforeseen events.
