20 years of research experience on synthesis of specialty polymers like Polyurethanes, Polyols (polyesters, biobased) Acrylics, Styrene-Acrylics, PVA, Silicone, SPUR. • PU Formulation development for application in Shoe sole, Lamination adhesives, Artificial turf coating, TDI-Ester & MDI-Ester elastomers, Polyurea coatings, Pipe cleaning elastomers & foam, concrete mould, Sports binders, EPDM/rubber binders, Wodwork D4 adhesive, Flexible foam binders, silants (hybrid,SPUR), High-tack adhesives, PU flooring system etc. • Formulation development non-PU chemistries for applications in PVA Adhesives, Acrylic Coatings, Water based Acrylic PSA, silicone/non-silicone Defoamers, Immobilizing/Encapsulation beads, SPUR/MS polymers, silants, Flocking binders, rubber-based contact adhesives, EVA based adhesives etc. • Expertise on polymer synthesis by emulsion, suspension & solvent polymerization techniques. • Managing R&D projects with stage gate approach with breakthrough innovation techniques. • Hands on experience on development of PU foam system for flexible, integral systems for shoe sole, automotive sector, heat insulation applications. • Reverse synthesis, Development project leading, QC & R&D leading team, new RM sourcing, Product Costing. • Optimization & section of different antioxidants & stabilizers in rubber & PU formulations. • Application & troubleshooting experience by visiting customer sites to provide solutions to industries like PU foam system house, shoe makers, OEM, Textile, upholstery, paint, leather, coatings, flexible packaging, PU converting, construction, rubber, furniture etc. • Expertise on 1 component & 2 component polyurethane adhesives (TPU’s) for shoe, woodwork, film lamination & design & develop polyesters polyols. • Design & commercialization of polyurethane & silane modified PU based two & one component exterior floor coatings. • Expertise on modification, localization & scale-up of opaque polystyrene-acrylic polymers (void core cell technology) • Experienced on hydro-silation, Amino-silation reactions to make silicone surfactants with different functionality, emulsions, dimethicone, defoamers, textile finishing & softening agents. • Experience on maintaining international regulations in products food & non food contact applications.
