The complex scientific problems often have simple solutions though they come from innovative thoughts and lots of common sense. Passion is an imperative factor for success, only when amalgamated with hard work, which has no short cut.this is my thinking and thats how I am.God made me privileged, so I think, and hence I have taxed myself to return to the society in a very little but my own way-what I am good at. I am working towards finding the treatment and diagnostic for the hepatitis caused by HEV, since West is not that interested since they do not drink feco-orally contaminated drinking water but our 40% of total population living in slums, do through which they contract jaundice. I started my career by doing Masters in 'Animal Genetics and Breeding', M.Phil. in 'Molecular Biology','Doctorate in Biochemistry' Post doctorate from 'University of Maryland', The George Washington University,'Universty of Sussex' and 'Indian Institute of Science'. I worked as a Senior Research Scientist in Department of Virology at International Centre for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, New Delhi with 6 years of stint in Biopharmaceutical industry leading a group on " Biosimilars". As much as research, teaching is my passion whereby I can give the direction to raw and virgin minds of the young students. My lectures contain lot of humour to connect with students, discuss the philosophy and some science too.
