Growing up in the vibrant cities of Bengaluru and Mysuru, I was always curious about how science could transform everyday life. My passion for food biotechnology, and environmental conservation was sparked during my undergraduate days when I realized the immense potential of food as a functional tool for health and wellness. This journey took me through advanced research, leading to a Ph.D. in Food biotechnology/ Biological Sciences and a decade-long career dedicated to developing innovative, health-focused food products. I am skilled in the creation of groundbreaking products like functional multigrain products and functional energy bars. My work involves everything from formulation trials to market launches, driven by a passion for enhancing lives through sustainable and nutritious food solutions. I also am good at patent drafting for the innovative novel products, grant proposals writing to government agencies such as BIRAC, K-TECH, etc. Proposals to K-TECH and BIRAC were selected. I have expertise in writing product profiles with specific health claim, writing literature reviews, and research paper publications. With a strong foundation in food technology, biotechnology, advanced analytical tools, and regulatory compliance, I bring expertise in designing health-beneficial formulations that align with market trends. I also bring value in market research, wet lab experimentation, nutraceutical characterisation, literature review, medical writing and research writing. My journey has also been marked by impactful research, teaching roles, and leadership in cross-functional teams. My expertise in food technology, safety and innovation is pivotal to developing health beneficial food products, ensuring our commitment to quality and safety. With a 10 year research experience in CFTRI, and a year teaching experience in food technology and biotechnology has helped me in enhancing my work experience.
