About Deepali M.

With over 12 years of experience in education, I am a passionate and versatile teacher, currently teaching IB DP ESS and high school science curriculum at Cayman International School. Previously, I was employed at Grace Christian Academy, where I oversaw the Science curriculum for the whole school, following the NY Engage curriculum based on the Next Generation Science Standards. I was a middle school teacher too and taught core subjects, with a focus on inquiry-based student-led learning. I am certified to teach in Ontario (Canada) and hold an active OCT license. I am a trained teacher with a PGCE, an M.Sc. in Environmental Science, a Bachelor's in Science, UGC-NET qualified. I am also a certified Google and Microsoft educator versed in 21st-century teaching skills. My core competencies include educational assessment, interdisciplinary teaching, allyship, remediation, project-based learning, and inquiry-led instruction. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and academic achievement among my students. As a lifelong learner, I am committed to staying current with the latest research, trends, and best practices in education. My goal is to continue positively impacting students' lives and fostering their love of learning.
