As a Biomarker Scientist at Genentech, I have over 20 years of experience in oncology research, with a focus on cancer immunotherapy and biomarker development. I am passionate about applying my scientific knowledge and skills to advance the understanding and treatment of cancer, and to improve the lives of patients • Actively participated in biomarker development efforts in support of Genentech’s biomarker pipeline, with substantial experience in human immunology, cancer immunotherapy, oncology, cancer cell signaling pathways, and translational research • Study Biomarker Lead for bladder trials, actively contributed to Clinical and Biomarker development plans for combination trials • Extensive experience in multi-color flow cytometry to assess tumor infiltrating lymphoid and myeloid cell populations, T cell functional assays, CRISPR KO and KI studies • Efficient at navigating complex experiments through sample processing, data acquisition, data analysis, and presentation of experimental reports • Proven ability to coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams of biologists, clinical scientists, and bioinformaticists • Proficient in FACS, CyTOF, Fluidigm, MSD and Elisa with hands on experience in developing biomarker immunoassays and cytokine analysis • Extensive experience in multiple data analysis tools such as Shiny, Partek, Qlucore, JMP, Prism and Ingenuity Pathway analysis
